The Introduction 04/20/2010
In 2006, my wife bought me a camcorder for my birthday. It was a home camcorder, best for filming a few things around yourself; a dog running in a park or yourself pulling funny faces when you put the cam on one of those £15 tripods. I was just trying. The first editing programme I used was Sony Vegas 6.0, real fun. The month that followed, I met a rap artist living not far from my flat. That was in Brighton. I decided to make him the guinea-pig. We went around a few locations, outside in the freezing waste. It was still fun. I was filming and someone was doing what I judge best for him to do, a shoot here and there. I was very proud of my first cut. It was the first cut. The year that followed, I was helping produce a programme that was broadcasted on one the Sky channels. The same year, I produced "Stay Tuned" it went straight forward broadcasted on local channels in the US. It was fun. That's how it all started. Today, I'm thinking how far I came [SMILE], it's all good. CommentsLeave a Reply |
